Why we started

Dr Ophelia Millar

Ophelia graduated from Imperial College School of Medicine in 2022 and completed her foundation training in the Oxford Deanery. During her time at university, Ophelia won academic awards and a 1st class BSc in Reproductive and Developmental Sciences. Ophelia has been tutoring since 2016 and has experience sitting on medical school admission panels. This has given her an understanding of what interviewers are looking for and how to succeed at interview.

Ophelia also has experience guiding medical students from the University of Oxford through their exams and facilitating mock final clinical exams (OSCEs).

Ophelia has published research in peer-reviewed journals and postgraduate gynaecological textbooks.

Dr Tobias Heaton

Tobias started tutoring in 2014 whilst studying medicine at Imperial College London. Whilst at university, Tobias managed his studies alongside high performance sport, received awards for his academic performance and completed a BSc in Neuroscience and Mental Health.

Since working as a doctor, Tobias has focussed on teaching both prospective and current medical students. He has designed and taught clinical teaching programmes for medical students, helping them excel in challenging exams. Tobias has also delivered interview courses and 1:1 sessions for medical school applicants, helping countless students get in to their first choice medical school.

Tobias has published surgical research in peer-reviewed journals and presented his work at multiple national conferences.
